Clearfield Recruitment is seeking a skilled Telescopic Forklift Driver to join our team in Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in our construction project, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of telescopic forklift equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate telescopic forklift machinery to move materials and equipment on construction sites.
- Safely load and unload materials from trucks and delivery vehicles.
- Transport materials to various locations on the construction site as required.
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and inspections to ensure proper functioning.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members and construction staff to facilitate efficient project progress.
- Maintain accurate records of materials moved and work performed.
Requirements:
Valid Telescopic Forklift Driver's license or certification (NPORS/CPCS)
Proven experience operating telescopic forklift equipment on construction sites.
Knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines for forklift operation.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Physical fitness and the ability to lift and move heavy materials.
Reliable and punctual.
