Job Description:
Clearfield Recruitment is seeking a qualified and experienced Site Engineer for an 8-week project in Hunstanton. You will be working on behalf of our client, a reputable groundworks company, focusing on a large housing development. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled engineer with a strong background in groundworks and residential construction.
Key Responsibilities:
Setting out for foundations, drainage, roads, and services.
Ensuring all engineering work is completed in accordance with design and quality standards.
Liaising with site management, subcontractors, and other engineers to ensure smooth project progression.
Conducting surveys and providing technical support on-site.
Preparing and maintaining accurate records of works and as-built information.
Requirements:
Proven experience in a Site Engineer role, ideally within groundworks and housing projects.
Relevant qualifications in Civil Engineering or Construction.
Must have your own total station/kit and be fully equipped for the job.
Strong understanding of health and safety standards on construction sites.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid CSCS card and full UK driving licence.
