Senior Surveyor- Refurbishment in East Ham

Clearfield are working with a highly reputable client who have been in the construction industry for over 50 years. The workload varies from £500k to £15m with clients from all industries including local authorities, housing associations, education, ecclesiastical and private etc.

They are looking for a full time, permanent Senior Surveyor to join them, you will be reporting to the Commercial, the new team member will take full financial control of between 3 and 4 projects. A Contracts Manager will act as team leader for each project and surveyors will be expected to liaise and work closely with the CM and the supporting departments of purchasing and estimating.
The following headings set out the broad range of responsibilities;
·Preparing and agreeing main contract valuations, variations and final accounts.
·Monthly cost value reconciliations and forecasts.
·Preparation and monitoring cash flow.
·Financial control of Sub-Contractors from placing order to agreeing final accounts.
·Producing pre contract budgets.
·Cost per square metre analysis.
·Measurement and BQ preparation.
·Supervision and training of junior staff

Must have:
·3-4 years' experience in a senior role,
·Be within 45-60 mins of East Ham, London
·Experience across a number of different refurbishment sectors

Salary-£60-70K
