Job Title: Drainage Groundworker
Location: Brightlingsea, Essex
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £17 - £21 per hour
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled drainage groundworker our clients team. As a drainage groundworker, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of groundworks related to drainage systems. You will be expected to work independently or as part of a team and must have a good understanding of health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation of new drainage systems, including pipes, manholes, and gullies
- Excavation and reinstatement of trenches
- Repair and maintenance of existing drainage systems
- Use of hand and power tools to carry out tasks
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and plans
- Liaising with other trades on site
- Ensuring work is completed on time and to a high standard
- Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times
Requirements:
- Previous experience in drainage groundworks
- Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- CSCS card (preferable)
