Commercial and Residential Quantity Surveyor in Norwich

Overview

I am working in a partnership with a medium sized Main Contractor successfully delivering Construction Projects spanning the Educational, Commercial, Industrial and Residential markets. They have an extremely healthy pipeline of work for 2023 with it shaping up to be the busiest year for them due, to this they are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join them.

Duties:
·CVR document integrates Tender handover stage LPM split and guides ongoing Procurement decisions/ outcomes, upstream Variation Account progress as well as providing a rolling Cost to Complete.
·Complete Monthly CVR Reports for agreed Projects to assist with the Monthly Management Meeting and to monitor ongoing financial performance of each Project.
·Produce a Procurement Schedule as per the new format for each project & agree what elements are to be procured by QS/CM or Site Supervisor
·Attendance to Site(s) once a week is required to support Site Team, monitor progress and to attend Project Meetings Review and Record Progress.
·Ensure Payment Certificates for downstream applications are issued to each subcontractor as per Construction Act, i.e. within 5 days of receiving upstream Certificate.
·Attend month-end Management Meetings with wider team and present and rough overview of the jobs - Programme, Financials, Concerns etc

You:
·Willing to travel as long distance as recent projects have been in Snetterton, St Ives and Wolverhampton, plus future works at Kidderminster look likely.
·3+years QS experience,
·Experience on a mixture of residential and commercial projects,
