Building Surveyor in Colchester

Overview

Our client is a multi-disciplinary construction consultancy who is currently recruiting for a Building Surveyor to join their growing team.

This company has worked on a number of well-known projects and buildings, and on behalf of some very important clients, both in the public and private sectors throughout East Anglia. They operate on multi-million construction projects, across a range of build types and project sectors that include Education, Residential, Commercial, and Healthcare schemes.

This will naturally be a client facing role. The workload will be varied, but typical Building Surveyor duties/responsibilities will include, but not limited to; Condition Surveys, Party Walls, Dilapidations, Contract Administration, Building Pathology, Report Writing. The successful candidate will ideally be professionally qualified, such as a relevant degree and recently be chartered, or be working towards attaining chartership status.

This office has undergone a number of years of sustained growth, with this set to continue given the current demand from their existing and potential clients in the region. We are also recruiting for several other positions within their other departments/ teams also. As this growth continues and you develop as an employee there is the opportunity for career progress.
